About Us

For many years SI-Schweitzer Ingenieur GmbH (SI) has been a reliable engineering partner in aerospace industry and realized various aerospace projects both as a sub and a main contractor.

We are a team of experienced and competent aerospace engineers and technicians and are certified as EASA Design (DOA EASA.21J.311 in process) and Production Organisation (EASA DE.21G.0241 in process).

We offer wide range of services starting from brainstorming and concept development and ending with final detailed design and manufacturing. We also offer supplementary type certification (STC) implementations. These STCs range from camera and mission equipment installations to operator stations and cabin interiors. We offer short timespan between development and fabrication to ensure maximum effectiveness at an affordable cost. 

We also offer services as a manufacturing provider be it for new parts or for repairs.

Besides above engineering and manufacturing services we offer Special Missions with manned and unmanned aircraft and have developed UNIVERSALUAVunmanned aerial vehicle with a maximum take-off weight of 250 kg and a 5m span. This twin-engined UAV was tailored to support firefighting and rescue forces and was first presented to the public during Paris Airshow 2013 in Le Bourget.

For the UAS community we offer IT&Programming of Interfaces, Software-in-the-Loop and Hardware-in-the-Loop simulations as well as UAV Autopilot Set-ups and optimisation. We have developed the Generic Ground Station which provides professional, aerospace-grade Flight Control to Third Party UAV developers. The Generic Ground Stations have a scalable range and enable the simultaneous operation of fixed wing, helicopter and multicopter UAVs.
