3G / 4G / Sat Data Link

As an alternative to direct data links, cellular or satellite networks may be used for UAS control data and/or for transmission of live sensor data from the airborne vehicle to the ground control station. SI develops solutions for data communication, respecting network coverage, required bandwidth and tolerable latencies. The solutions may be based on multi-carrier or multi-system layouts to maximize reliability.

In addition, UAS from SI can be used to monitor network coverage for a later deployment of UAS controlled by cellular links.
